DO I NEED TO PRINT MY TICKET?
Printing the order is not required to visit the Domain of the Battle of Waterloo. It is possible to present your order on a smartphone or tablet at the Museum's front desk.
However, if you wish to print your order, please make sure you have a printer (with ink). Tickets must be printed on blank white A4 paper.
WHERE DO I GO?
The entrance to the Domain is located in the basement at the entrance to the Museum.
The order confirmation you received must be exchanged at the cashier's desk for a ticket when you arrive at the Domain of the Battle of Waterloo.
Your order for a particular day is valid for the entire day, but it is advisable to arrive early to get the most out of the Domain.
WHAT DOES THE TOUR INCLUDE?
The Domain of the Battle of Waterloo includes 4 main areas of visit:
- The Museum or interpretation center of nearly 2000m2 of visit, built and inaugurated in 2015, which traces the history of the battle and that of Napoleon.
- The Panorama of 1912, a huge canvas of 110m in circumference and 12.5m high, housed in a building classified as an exceptional heritage of Wallonia.
- The Lion's Mound, built between 1824 and 1826 by the Crown of the Netherlands in homage to the Prince of Orange.
- The farm of Hougoumont, historical place witnessing the violent French assaults against the allies on June 18, 1815.
The visit in low season lasts about 2h30 to 3h00. In high season with the historical re-enactment animations, it can last between 3 and 4h30.
WHAT PAYMENT METHODS ARE ACCEPTED ON THE ONLINE TICKETING SERVICE?
Credit card: MasterCard, Visa, Carte Bleue. These are the only means of payment accepted for your purchases on the online ticketing service.
I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE PAYMENT OF MY ORDER, "PAYMENT REFUSED
- Check if you have correctly filled in your credit card details.
- Check with your bank.
WHAT ARE THE GUARANTEES OF SECURITY OF PAYMENT ?
In order to ensure the security of purchases made via the online ticketing system, the site is equipped with the SSL (Secure Socket Layer - and 3D Secure) encryption protocol and the new "Verified by Visa" and "MasterCard securecode" card authentication control standards in order to prevent fraudulent use of your bank card by third parties.
HOW DO I KNOW IF MY ORDER HAS BEEN PROCESSED?
As soon as you place your order, you will receive an email confirming your purchase.
I DID NOT RECEIVE MY ORDER CONFIRMATION EMAIL / WRONG EMAIL ADDRESS :
1-Check that you have updated/refreshed your inbox. If you still haven't received a confirmation email after a few minutes, 2- Check that the email address entered in your personal information has been correctly entered. If the address is not correct, you cannot change it. You must contact us at +32 2 385 19 12 or by email info@waterloo1815.be
2-Click on "connect", and fill in the correct data of your account (e-mail address and password), on this page you will find the history of your orders and you will be able to edit your Ticket. If the e-mail address was entered correctly, wait a few more minutes and check that the confirmation e-mail has not been automatically filed in the "spam" box. If you can't find any trace of the email, contact the reception desk at +32 2 385 19 12 or via the contact form.
CAN I CHANGE OR CANCEL MY RESERVATION?
No, once you have paid for a ticket, it cannot be refunded or exchanged (see Terms and Conditions).
I FORGOT MY PASSWORD
Click on the link "Forgot your password? Enter the email address associated with your customer account and click on the "Send Email" button, and you will receive a new password by email. You will receive a new password by e-mail. You can change it at any time in the "My account" section.
INVOICES OF MY ORDERS
Keep and print the confirmation email of your order it acts as an invoice, or/and consult the history of your online purchases in the "My Orders" section.
ARE MY PERSONAL DATA PROTECTED ?
The Domain of the Battle of Waterloo stores and protects your personal data. Under no circumstances will your personal data be transferred to a third party. In accordance with the French law on "Information Technology and Civil Liberties", you may at any time request the rectification or deletion of this data by mail to the following address Domaine de la bataille de Waterloo 1815, Route du Lion 1815, 1420 Braine-l'alleud, Belgium.
I WAS NOT ABLE TO USE / I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE MY TICKET BEFORE THE EXPIRY DATE. WHAT TO DO?
As indicated in the GTC, tickets are neither exchangeable nor refundable.
CAN I USE MY DATE TICKET OUTSIDE OF THE MENTIONED DATE?
No, it is not possible to use your date ticket outside of the mentioned date.
I WOULD LIKE TO GIVE AWAY TICKETS FOR THE BATTLE OF WATERLOO. IS THIS POSSIBLE?
Yes, although the ticket is nominative, it can be given to a third party respecting the same conditions of use of the ticket.
DO TICKETS PURCHASED ON THE INTERNET ALLOW ME TO AVOID THE QUEUE?
No. Tickets bought on the Internet must be exchanged at the cash desk, but there is a quick checkout for this purpose.
