Article 1. Application of the general terms and conditions
The agreements between the purchaser and SA Kléber Rossillon Waterloo - Domain of the Battle of Waterloo 1815 are fully and exclusively governed by these general terms and conditions, notwithstanding any provision to the contrary appearing on any document whatsoever issued by the customer.
Article 2. Rates
2.1 The price of tickets is indicated on our website in euros including all taxes. Special conditions and free admission (partnerships with other sites, discount cards, subscriptions, etc.) will only be applied on the day of the visit at the ticket offices of the Domain of the Battle of Waterloo 1815.
2.2 Any person who has applied for a special rate (PRM, senior citizen, student, child) must be able to prove their legitimacy with an official document when passing through the ticket offices of the Domain of the Battle of Waterloo 1815. In the absence of documents that can justify this special rate, the Domain of the Battle of Waterloo 1815 is entitled to charge the difference with the adult rate ticket in force at the time of the visit.
2.3 The calendar of events and activities is subject to change during the year. In this case, a supplement to the admission ticket may be requested when you visit the ticket office.
Article 3. Age category
Admission is free for children under 10 years old. Children under 10 years of age must be accompanied by an adult and must have their own entrance ticket. The child category includes people between 10 and 17 years of age. The “reduced” category includes people over 59 years old, students and people with reduced mobility. The “adult” category includes people between 18 and 59 years old.
Article 4. Information and online booking process
When purchasing a ticket online, the buyer is obliged to follow all the steps. During the procedure, the buyer will have to provide specific information that is necessary for the management of his order. The buyer confirms that this information is correct and up to date. The buyer registers with a password, which will enable him to save his data.
Once registered, this information will enable him/her to carry out future transactions more quickly and to check previous and completed orders. The ticket buyer takes all the necessary precautionary measures to keep his password secret. The Domain of the Battle of Waterloo 1815 does not disclose your password to third parties.
Article 5. Personal data
5.1. Processing of personal data
In the context of the online sale of ticket(s) by the Domain of the Battle of Waterloo 1815 to the purchaser, the Domain of the Battle of Waterloo 1815 will process the purchaser's personal data provided by the purchaser during the online purchase, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter the "DPMR") and as set out below.
Legal basis for the processing of personal data: In accordance with the RGPD, the processing by the Domain of the Battle of Waterloo 1815 of the buyer's personal data is justified by the performance of the contractual obligations of the Domain of the Battle of Waterloo 1815 and, where applicable, by the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at the buyer's request, as well as by the pursuit of the legitimate interests of the Domain of the Battle of Waterloo 1815, such as the processing of customer files, compliance with the various legal obligations, and the various administrative, contact and organisational steps taken with the purchaser by the Domain of the Battle of Waterloo 1815.
5.2. Treatment for the purposes of customer management
The Domain of the Battle of Waterloo 1815 collects and processes personal data (such as, but not limited to, identification and financial data) for the purposes of customer management (including, but not limited to, online shopping, administration and billing). The Domain of the Battle of Waterloo 1815 also processes personal data for the purposes of commercial prospecting and promotion, commercial statistics and satisfaction surveys, as well as for the purposes of sending marketing campaigns and personalised advertising. Consent to the processing of data for the purposes of commercial prospecting may be withdrawn at any time and at no cost by the purchaser by sending an email to the person in the administration department responsible for the processing of personal data within the Domain of the Battle of Waterloo 1815 at the following address: privacy@waterloo1815.be. If necessary, the purchaser may also withdraw his consent by following the indications contained in the satisfaction survey or the advertisement sent to the Domain of the Battle of Waterloo 1815.
5.3. Data access, rectification, erasure, objection and portability
The buyer has access to his data and can rectify them if they are inaccurate or incomplete. He may also delete them and limit their processing in the cases provided for by the applicable regulations. The buyer can also receive his data in a structured format and, in accordance with the right to data portability, have it passed on to another company. In order to exercise the above-mentioned rights, the purchaser may send an email to the Domain of the Battle of Waterloo 1815 to the following address: info@waterloo1815.be.
The buyer's personal data will be kept:
- when they are processed for customer management purposes: for the period necessary to execute the contract relating to the reservation of ticket(s) or subscription(s) and/or additional activities in the park for a period of one (1) year from the end of the reserved service, unless their subsequent retention is necessary to meet certain legal obligations.
- or when they are processed for commercial prospecting purposes: for a maximum period of two (2) years from the end of the reserved service, unless their subsequent retention is necessary to meet certain legal obligations.
5.4. Recourse
Within the framework of the processing of his personal data by the Domain of the Battle of Waterloo 1815, the purchaser has the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority. (Rue de la Presse, 35 in 1000 Brussels - commission@privacycommission.be).
Article 6. Your ticket
6.1 Issuance
Once payment has been accepted, the ticket can be printed via our reservation site and at the e-mail address indicated during the order process. It is delivered in Pdf format.
6.2 Validity
To be valid, your ticket must be printed in portrait mode on a blank white A4 sheet of paper. Each ticket purchased corresponds to one entry. Our tickets that can be printed at home have a unique barcode. The validity of the tickets is checked and recorded at the entrance using barcode readers. It is not possible to be admitted several times with the same ticket. Only the first person to present the ticket will be admitted to the Domain of the Battle of Waterloo 1815. This person is presumed to be the rightful holder of the ticket. It is therefore forbidden to reproduce, duplicate or forge the ticket in any way, or to make it available for such purposes. Keep your ticket in a safe place. Only use the official website of the Domain of the Battle of Waterloo 1815 to purchase your ticket. Never accept a ticket offered to you by a stranger, as it could be a copy. The ticket holder may be a different person from the purchaser.
The Domain of the Battle of Waterloo 1815 cannot under any circumstances be held liable in particular in the event of loss or theft of the ticket order. No duplicates can be issued on site.
Article 7. Payment
We remind you that the fact of validating your order implies the obligation at your expense to pay the price indicated. You must pay for your purchases on our site by credit card (Maestro, Visa, Mastercard). Debiting your bank account is independent of the use of tickets. In any case, the tickets are paid even if you do not print them. Proof of payment cannot be used as an admission ticket. An amount of € 0.50 will be charged for any printing of tickets purchased via our website.
Tickets for the Domain of the Battle of Waterloo 1815 are not refundable, exchangeable, returnable or changeable.
Article 8. I did not have access to the site
As far as possible, the Domain of the Battle of Waterloo 1815 takes care to inform visitors of any disruptions to the Domain's activities, in particular by means of publications or updates to the agenda on its website. This is done with the sole aim of avoiding inconvenience, without this being construed as a right to compensation, reimbursement or reduction in the event that the disruption has not been mentioned by such means.
When, before the date of the beginning of the activity, the execution of one of the essential services of your activity (e.g. entry to the site) is made impossible due to an external event that is imposed on the Domain of the Battle of Waterloo 1815, except in the case of force majeure, the Memorial will inform you as soon as possible and propose a modification of its reservation by email.
You then have the option to change your reservation:
- to request in writing a full refund of the purchase of your one-day ticket(s), without penalty or charge, within ten calendar days from the first day the site reopens;
- or to accept the modification proposed by the Domain of the Battle of Waterloo 1815. You must notify the Domain of the Battle of Waterloo 1815 of your choice, in writing, as soon as possible.
The limitation of non-essential services and benefits of the Domain of the Battle of Waterloo 1815 due to bad weather, works or any case of force majeure shall not give rise to any right to reimbursement or relocation of the service.
In case of force majeure preventing the Domain of the Battle of Waterloo 1815 from performing all or part of its obligations under the contract, the obligations of the Domain of the Battle of Waterloo 1815 are automatically suspended and it may not be held liable to you in the event of non-performance. When such an event outside the Domain of the Battle of Waterloo 1815 that is both unforeseeable and insurmountable occurs, the Domain of the Battle of Waterloo 1815 will offer you a voucher corresponding to the value of the activity initially reserved to be redeemed at a later date to replace the service not performed, subject to availability. Strikes or general or specific social actions at the Domain of the Battle of Waterloo 1815, medical, health, safety or climatic circumstances entailing a risk for the activity of the Domain of the Battle of Waterloo 1815 or its customers, or any public injunction to close or limit the activity of the Domain of the Battle of Waterloo 1815 for any reason whatsoever, are deemed to be cases of force majeure.
Article 9. I have not used my ticket
Entry tickets are valid for a single passage at the control for the date mentioned on the ticket. Unused tickets will not be refunded or exchanged.
These terms and the contractual relationship are exclusively governed by Belgian Law.
Article 10. Miscellaneous provisions
These special terms and conditions of sale are subject to Belgian law, both in their interpretation and their implementation. In the absence of an amicable settlement, the customer may refer the matter either to one of the courts territorially competent under the Code of Civil Procedure, or to the court of the place where he was residing at the time of the conclusion of the contract or the occurrence of the harmful fact.
